Villa Trate is located in the heart of Prlekija, where tradition meets modernity in the shelter of nature. We are located on the outskirts of the small village of Lukavci, near Ljutomer. Our villa offers an authentic experience of nature and comfort and a retreat from the chaos of the outside world. During your stay in the villa, the walls decorated with paintings will tell you stories of past eras that once flourished here. Next to Villa Trate stands Škedenj, which with its appearance blends in with the green surroundings.
Villa Trate, with five apartments, is a great place for celebrations and special moments. The landscaped garden with a terrace under Škedenj can host wonderful events in all seasons, and the villa also boasts a well-preserved cellar, where you can taste the best traditional wines and sparkling wines of Prlekija in the shelter of old stone arches.

Just a few meters away from Villa Trate, across the shared courtyard, is Škedenj pri Vila Trate – a beautifully renovated country barn that combines traditional character with modern comfort. A great choice for guests who value peace, space and genuine contact with nature – but at the same time want to be close to everything Villa Trate has to offer.
Upstairs are three spacious family rooms, each with: a large double bed and two single beds, en suite bathroom, air conditioning, television, private balcony with garden or pool view.
Guests have access to a shared kitchen and a spacious covered terrace on the ground floor, providing space for relaxation or celebrations. Guests can also use the outdoor swimming pool.
