Ansambel Petan is a family music group which has been in the music scene for 12 years. It has a long tradition of playing at weddings and other celebrations. With their excellent sense of guidance and animation they make happy place with repertoire of folk, Dalmatian as well as popular music. They will also take care of the lighting, color animation and various games by prior arrangement. Everything is done according to the wishes of bride and groom. At midnight they prepare beautiful program for you where you can cut cake and enjoy magical moments. By additional agreement they also play at your civil and church wedding.
Boys full of energy and with great desire to create amazing moments have so far released over 20 of their own songs and videos. The most noticeable among them are Stari hrast, Posebna si, Dej na brzo and many other played throughout Slovenia.
People recognize them by beautiful singing of four male voices and velvety main vocal of their accordionist Denis. They play at parties, concerts, weddings, birthdays, abrahams, proms and any other celebrations they are invited. Their great friendship and joy of playing make them so successful.
Denis Petan is the leader of the group. He is from Gorenje Mraševo, plays accordion, keyboards and sings. He wrote melodies for many of their songs. Denis attends Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. He graduated from Marjan Kozina High School of Music in Novo mesto in playing the diatonic accordion. In his spare time, he enjoys riding motorcycle, playing basketball, soccer and running.
Primož Petan is the youngest member of the group. He plays guitar, electric guitar, sings, compose and write lyrics. He also comes from Gorenje Mraševo. He graduated from the six-year music school in Novo mesto. In his spare time, he plays football, loves running and riding a motorcycle.
Ivan Petan is the main “joker”, he performs and leads the program at the celebrations. As well he sings, plays the accordion, kahon and tambourine. He comes from Gorenje Mraševo. In his spare time, he rides a motorcycle, rides horse and enjoys wine culture and his vineyard.
Bor is a 22 years old student who knows quite a lot. He is a masseur, has lifeguard license and in 2016 he was a rafting champion with his team. He is not bored during his free time as he is accompanied by his puppy, black Labrador Luna. They both love long walks and beautiful sunsets.
