We are one of the oldest restaurants in Piran, but our chef lives the third millennium. We combine local culinary heritage with youthful imagination and talent. This is why Stara gostilna is actually always young.
Donata is the chef who has been running Stara Gostilna - Old restaurant Piran since 1997. With passion and a clear vision, she transformed it from a classic seafood restaurant into a restaurant of new culinary dimensions. In 2020, the team was joined by the up-and-coming chef Kristian Zule – Kiki. The small restaurant offers him plenty of space to develop his talent, experiment and use his imagination to paint plates that arouse desire. Today, he is the youngest Slovenian chef with a Michelin award.
