Kogo, a cook in the Istrian dialect, is a bridge and a crossroads of generations, a place where, tested and good, he unites with a spirit that dares to take risks and try. Kitchen with trendy upgraded home-made recipes and imaginatively served dishes.
KOGO is more than just a restaurant – during the day it is ideal for a coffee meeting with a business partner, in the afternoon for a meeting with an old acquaintance over a glass of wine, and in the evening for a romantic dinner or a fun wine tasting with friends.
The restaurant is run by young boys from Slovenian coast, Marko Kozel and Aljoša Mlinar.
Chef of KOGO Tilen Župevec shows his true, virtuoso skills in the preparation of plates he serves during the day or as dinner. At that time, local flavors of modern recipes flourish on the plates, but they respect the tradition, preserve its culinary specifics and enrich them with modern techniques and combinations.

The larger, recently and completely remodeled space that we’ve called the Temple of Wine can accommodate up to 60 people between its walls and outdoor seating areas. As we know how different people’s tastes are, the offers are individually prepared according to your needs. There is also a projector, screen and sound system for corporate events in the hall.
Privacy is something we value even more these days. That’s why, in addition to the wine cellar, we have recently renovated a VIP room for our guests. The VIP room is a space intended for both business meetings and limited number of culinary events. It is intended for groups of up to 12 people, where you are only served by a dedicated waiter. The dishes are freshly prepared in our kitchen by our expert chefs. The VIP room is also equipped with an LCD TV and is therefore also suitable for various presentations.
Contact with nature and the beauty of our Istria are a fundamental part of our new space, where we offer our guests gourmet pleasures in the embrace of a Mediterranean garden full of spices, in the heart of the vineyards of the Purissima location.
The space is open-type and offers receptions for up to 50 people and is suitable for various events of both a corporate and personal nature.

The Mediterranean Gardens are learning and didactic centers where you can experience the diversity of the Mediterranean, get to know traditional plants and taste the local cuisine. Purissima is located on a hill below the bishop's hill near Ankaran. It is sheltered from the storm and is exposed to the sun and sea air for most of the year, making it ideal for the production of premium products.
