You can find us along the Savinja River, between the towns Okonina and Radmirje, near the main road Celje – Logarska Valley.
We can organize bigger parties, anniversaries, weddings, celebrations, we can even organize picnic with whole service or rent out our picnic area.
Smaller groups can complete the visit of our guesthouse with tasting of good Slovenian wines in our wine cellar.
We will serve you in the traditionally furnished tavern or you can choose the view on the Savinja River, where you can enjoy at one of the two terraces we have above the river.
In the main room of Guest Guest House Prodnik, where is a smaller stage space for dancing, we can host groups up to 110 people and in a gallery further 30 guests.
Weddings at Guest House Prodnik can be in the warmer months especially magical, as wedding guests can be served with champagne on the paved embankment of Savinja River. We can also take newlyweds and their closes friends on a short ride in a decorated raft, of course, to the quiet part of the river.
In the Guest House Prodnik for the twenty years now, we cook only from fresh and homemade ingredients. We spoil our guests with traditional local delicacies and we offer other specialties in our own recipes:
– Homemade soups and appetizers,
– Meat dishes (plate Prodnik, steak on the grill or in pepper sauce, cordon bleu, pork, veal and turkey meat on the grill, Vienna schnitzel and in various sauces, pleskavica, meat rolls or čevapčiči in the bread, etc …),
– Fish dishes (salmon or Piran grilled sea bass Fonda, squid made in different ways and grilled savinjska trout),
– Pizzas, vegetarian dishes, homemade noodles with mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese or tomato sauce and baby plates,
– Salads with tuna, seafood or turkey noodles,
– Rich selection of desserts, from home or buckwheat pancakes to cheese dumplings in six ways, ice creams and fruit salads and dessert; by prior arrangement we can also prepare Pohorje omelette, Salzburg dumplings or homemade strudels with various fillings,
– Seasonal dishes as well as daily lunch (Tuesday to Friday) and dinner,
– By prior arrangement, we can also prepare many other dishes.
We have available a newly renovated accommodation capacity in new building.
Thus we offer 16 rooms with double bed and two with additional beds spread around two buildings, so together we can accommodate up to 64 guests.
In the main building, in addition to 8 rooms there is also breakfast room, an outdoor terrace, a wine cellar and a conference room. Each new building contains four rooms, which offer balconies with beautiful views across the valley, and even the common lounge with a kitchenette, which guests can book themselves. All rooms have a balcony and can accommodate up to four people (double bed + 2 additional beds). They are equipped with solid wood furniture, a TV, telephone, free internet connection and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. The facilities and the surrounding area are available with free Wi-Fi signal. A large breakfast buffet is available from 7:00 to 9:00. With a drink, lunch or dinner you will be served in Restaurant Prodnik.
