In the immediate vicinity of Ljubljana, in the Ižanska region, there is an unspoilt natural value of the Iški Vintgar. The Iška vintgar is a picturesque gorge through which the river Iška flows. Its interesting appearance with a babbling rivulet, gravel dunes, numerous pools and steep rocky banks, which in some places give it the appearance of a real canyon, was shaped by strong tectonic faults.
We can proudly say that in 2021 we revived the old guest house Iški Vintgar and completely renovated it in an even more modern way. We have added a range of dishes that fit the guest house in the middle of unspoilt nature. Our catering offer is focused on traditional Slovenian cuisine, to which we carefully add a modern touch.
