It has been symbol of Bled cuisine for a several decades. Of course you can buy it elsewhere, however, the only true one can be found only in Bled. Ištvan Lukačevič, the former head of pastry of Park Hotel has tested the recipes and different combinations for a long time before he succeeded. Today, famous cream cakes are still being prepared at the patisserie and sold in Kavarna Park, in the opposite side of the Hotel.
What is a cream cake?
And what's the secret? Actually there is no secret, the only thing that matters are experiences. In Bled, they do not miss ones, since they sold 12 million cream cakes in the last 60 years. Gold baked lining of pastry, made with butter, not margarine, a delicious vanilla cream of exactly the right texture, which do not spill over when being cut, the taste of perfect whipped cream, with just the right proportion of vanilla cream and a crispy pastry with powdered sugar. Who would not want to try it?
The restaurant of Villa Andor is the ideal place for all kinds of celebrations, weddings, business lunches, romantic dinners... The indoor restaurant can accommodate 80 guests and on the outdoor terrace there is further space to accommodate another 120 visitors.

Bled’s culinary speciality is the delicious kremna rezina, also known as the kremšnita: it's a layer of vanilla custard topped with whipped cream and sandwiched between two layers of flaky pastry.
