The Renaissance castle building with Baroque interior in an old town on the slope (Slovene brežec – Brežice) above the mighty Sava river is really a luxurious place to make the first step towards your future together.
You are kindly invited to exchange wedding vows in one of the most beautiful Baroque halls, in Viteška dvorana (the Knight's Hall). At the beginning of the 18th century this Hall was most likely designed and created for wedding ceremony of Count Ignac Maria Attems' daughter. Special atmosphere is performed by baroquely painted walls and the ceiling full of scenes from Greek and Roman mythology. The Hall is recognized for its extreme acoustics which makes unforgettable experience together with the music programme selection. Experience as it should be at all weddings – memorable and unrepeatable.
If you are looking for a bit different place, choose the Barogue chapel of the Holy Cross or an intimate outer space by the castle in summer months, or even a spacious castle courtyard.
Wedding is one of most ceremonial events in the life of a couple so it is of vital importance that it remains in our memories for ever. Photos taken in the castle ambient and in the Knight's Hall will be a remainder of this wonderful event. The Knight's Hall, in particular, gives wedding photos a hint of meeting different worlds, ceremony and eternity.
While you are taking photos, we entertain the wedding guests by taking them around the castle and showing them the rich heritage of Posavje region.
The castle environment is suitable for minor banquets (terrace, Little auditorium, courtyard, space by the castle), whereas nice weather allows bigger wedding ceremonies outdoors.

According to traditional belief tossing rice or cereal brings a couple welfare and luck. Tossing rice or cereal is allowed only at the courtyard, whereas throwing other things and in other rooms can harm the castle – memorial of national value and so it is forbidden.
