My name is Ana Simčič and I am 23 years old. I come from Izola.
I have loved spending time in the kitchen since I was little – I used to enjoy watching my grandmother bake, after whom I was named. I was happiest when she let me help her. It was then that my love for baking was awakened in me, which has only intensified during the Covid period. My sister and I used to bake a lot at the time and dreamed of opening our own pastry shop one day. Later, I explored this spark on my own.
By education, I have a degree in hospitality and tourism organization, and I worked in a pastry shop for three years. Although I gained a lot of experience there, I missed more creativity and freedom in creating, so I decided to pursue an independent entrepreneurial path.
I have my own "cake studio", where I create cakes and desserts with the utmost love and enjoyment. Each cake is unique, as I design it with a special thought for each of you. I love children's cakes, because children's imagination has no limits, and wedding cakes, because... what could I even write? A wedding cake is much more than just a dessert - it is a symbol of love, happiness and the beginning of something wonderful.
I make cakes and desserts to order. I always listen to your wishes, but I am happiest when you give me creative freedom. That's when the most authentic and beautiful cakes are created!
I use many techniques for decorations, but above all I follow trends.
